Your New Favorite Quiche
Needing to mix it up for brunch? Here’s our favorite quiche combo that will send your brunch game to the top!
1 package ground breakfast sausage
1 cup shredded pepperjack cheese
1 cup bell pepper strips (we prefer the multicolored sweet peppers!)
1 refrigerated pie crust
2 sliced scallions
6 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt & pepper
Fully cook ground sausage per package directions
Preheat over to 375.
Fit pie crust into a greased 10-inch quiche pan or a deep-dish pie plate. Tip: to prevent tears in the crust, let the crust come to room temperature before unrolling.
Line with foil and bake 15 minutes.
While the crust is baking, microwave 1 cup bell pepper strips with 2 tbsp water for 60 seconds and then drain.
Remove foil from crust.
Scatter 2 cups of the crumbled sausage, bell pepper strips, scallions, and shredded cheese onto the pie crust.
Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper and pour into crust.
Bake 15 minutes and reduce heat to 350.
Bake 25 minutes or until the center is set.
Cool at least 10 minutes and serve!
